Most boats in Empuriabrava and Roses belong to owners who are somewhere else for nine months of the year: Dutch, Belgian, British, Scandinavian, German, French. Everything is handled remotely — photos, a written quote, and the boat ready for the day you arrive.
Hardstanding is limited and usually full by November. If the boat is coming out this season, the time to ask for a quote is now.

On the Costa Brava the laying-up season runs from October into November. The earlier you book, the better the spot you get: by November the yards in Empuriabrava and Palamós are usually full.

Yes, and that is the usual case in Empuriabrava. Everything is handled by phone or WhatsApp, and the yard sends photos before and after. We answer in English.
It depends on length, on whether the boat is stored ashore or afloat, and on whether it is covered. As a guide, a 6 to 12 metre boat runs between 600 and 2,000 € per season. The yard gives a firm price once it has the details.
